Be Prepared America offers pathways to economic mobility through our online career and technical training programs. As a proud Cisco Networking Academy, CompTIA Academy Partner, and United States Department of Labor Apprenticeship Ambassador, we provide comprehensive in-person and online curriculums that empower students with in-demand IT skills.
Our academy prepares learners for globally recognized certifications and apprenticeships, while also addressing the tech divide by training underserved communities. Our mission is to foster workforce development by credentialing individuals with the technical competencies needed to pursue meaningful careers in today’s digital job market.
At Be Prepared America, we empower youth through innovative education that prepares them for a dynamic future. Our K-12 Initiative combines the Montessori approach with a strong focus on S.T.E.A.M. (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics) learning.
We foster critical thinking, creativity, and collaboration in engaging environments from Pre-K through High School. By emphasizing hands-on experiences and real-world applications, we equip students with the skills they need to thrive. Join us in shaping the leaders of tomorrow!
Registered Apprenticeship Programs
Be Prepared America prepares student learners for entry-level cybersecurity and tech positions, such as Cyber Security Support Technician, Cloud Security Support or Health Information Security Technician roles. Be Prepared America, in partnership with The U.S. Department of Labor Apprenticeship Programs, exists to close disparities in the I.T. industry by training nontraditional students to prepare for careers in cybersecurity.
Workforce Development
Be Prepared America provides access to economic mobility through workforce and professional development to fragile communities.
Be Prepared America is a Cisco Networking Academy (NetAcad) and CompTIA Academy Partner, providing comprehensive e-learning programs for non-profit organizations and educational institutions that teach students information technology skills essential in a global economy.
The academy program delivers web-based content, online assessments, student performance tracking, hands-on labs, teacher and instructor training, and support to prepare students to obtain nationally recognized competency-based certifications.
Welcome to the Faith and Community - HBCU Storytelling Initiative at Be Prepared America. This initiative honors the rich history and faith that birthed many of our nation's Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs). Rooted in the Church and supported by various denominations, these institutions were established for the education of formerly enslaved individuals and their descendants in the post-Reconstruction era.
Through engaging storytelling, we aim to illuminate the vital role these colleges have played in shaping communities and empowering generations. Our stories will be showcased on HBCU Smart TV and HBCUiRadio, launching in Fall 2025. Join us in celebrating the legacy of faith and education that continues to inspire and uplift.
